About Us

Capital Allocation Partners was formed in 2010 and has invested in dozens of real estate projects in Arizona and Utah. Capital Allocation Partners relies on its industry-disruptive deal structure, extensive relationships in brokerage and construction, and market-specific expertise to address attractive opportunities in multi-family and medical office building projects. Capital Allocation Partners also manages an equity strategy, the Ironwood Fund, led by Founder Nathan Reid.

Capital Allocation Partners is focused on alignment with investors and does not charge management fees, asset disposition fees, or construction management fees.

Nathan Reid

Founder, Partner, Managing Director

Nathan has acquired and repositioned dozens of properties representing over $250 million in value. After earning an MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, Nathan began his career at Ernst & Young and went on to serve as Chief Financial Officer/Controller for several Arizona-based companies. He founded Southwest Realty and Property Management, LLC, which managed approximately 1,200 apartment units and single-family homes prior to being acquired by Realogy (NYSE: RLGY). He manages Capital Allocation Partners’ equity strategy, the Ironwood Fund. Nathan is a six-time Ironman finisher.

Geoff Boeyenga

Partner, Director of Construction

Geoff moved to Arizona in 2006 to oversee the renovation work for a private real estate developer. After converting over 2,000 apartments to condominiums, the focus shifted to acquiring, renovating, and repositioning over 20 distressed Class B&C multi-family properties. Geoff acquired his General Contractors license and founded Orange Construction, ultimately growing the company to 24 employees.

Chad Barber

Principal, Director of Development

Chad oversees all aspects of ground-up development projects. Prior to joining CAP, he was a Principal with MODE Apartments where he was integral in over 55 projects across a 10-year span, ranging from repositioning “C” class multifamily assets to ground-up development of townhome and multifamily rental communities. Chad graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Plant Biology. He has been a board member of multiple nonprofit organizations and works closely with the North High School Baseball program.

Tracy Bunch

Controller

Tracy has been an accountant in the private real estate industry for over twenty years. Her accounting background has centered on commercial retail and residential master plan communities in Arizona, California, Utah, and Hawaii while working for DMB Associates, Inc. Tracy joined Capital Allocation Partners in 2021 to manage the accounting and reporting to investors, while they experience continued growth as a boutique real estate investment company.
